Alternative Fuels was founded by Texas Tech theatre students and has been entertaining West Texas and beyond since 2000.
In the last twelve years, AF has performed on thousands of occasions with rave reviews! Alternative Fuels is a registered student organization providing improvisational comedy for training sessions, parties, as well as fraternity and community events.
AF provides workshops for various ages and organizations. We offer games, laughter, and surprises that will keep you and your friends on the edge of your seats! Our shows are exciting and energetic; and of course totally unscripted. We put our audiences to work! Audience interaction is the foundation of our performances.
Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester. We are always looking for exciting, new performers. Alternative Fuels has performed all over Texas and New Mexico and is available for private engagements throughout the country.
